Vacation and Paid Time Off of 10 days of vacation annually. Paid Holidays. Medical Leave ATSU grants up to 10 days per calendar year for illness of short or temporary duration. Job Description

Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health is seeking applications for a full time Dental Coordinator/Assistant in the Integrated Community Service Partnership program. This position will be responsible for planning, coordinating, scheduling, assisting, record keeping, billing, and reporting for the Smiles Over Miles/DORA programs. Preparation of instruments, supplies, lab cases, and portable equipment needed for appointed dental treatment performed outside of the dental clinic. Dental Assistant must be properly trained/certified to provide chairside assistance as well as expose x-rays for the dental students and faculty.

Skills / Requirements

High school or equivalent, plus one year of technical school or training as a Dental Assistant. Must be X-ray and CPR certified with AED training. Knowledge of OSHA standards, aseptic procedures, HIPAA regulations, sterilization, and dental procedures and supplies, and billing procedures. Basic first aid knowledge is necessary. Must have prior experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, ACCESS). Dentrix software experience preferred. Position requires lifting and loading of equipment up to 30 lbs.
