Job Description

A.T. Still University, Arizona School of Health Sciences located on the Mesa, Arizona campus invites applications for a faculty position  with the main responsibility  as  Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education (ACCE).  The ACCE will work with the DCE, the Clinical Education Assistant, and the core DPT faculty to ensure a high quality clinical education program for our residential Doctor of Physical Therapy program.  Other responsibilities include teaching, scholarship, academic and research advising, and service to the institution, community, and profession. Rank and salary are commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Skills / Requirements

The ideal candidate will have DPT degree, or academic doctoral degree, be a member of the APTA, and must be eligible to obtain physical therapist license in AZ.  Must also have a minimum of three years of full-time post-licensure clinical practice. Two years of clinical experience must include experience as a CCCE or CI in physical therapy, or minimum of two years of experience in teaching, curriculum development and administration in a physical therapy education program. Previous DPT level teaching, demonstrated scholarship productivity, service to the community/profession, and strong administrative and organizational skills are desired.  Must work and communicate well in team environment and fit well into the current compliment of faculty members.
