Job Description

A.T. Still University, Arizona School of Health Sciences located on the Mesa, Arizona campus is pleased to announce an open faculty position at the assistant or associate professor level in the musculoskeletal/orthopedic track of the residential Doctor of Physical Therapy and the Orthopedic Residency programs. Rank and salary are commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities: Include, scholarship, academic and research advising, teaching, and service. The current entry-level musculoskeletal/orthopedic curriculum is well-developed and produces clinically strong graduates.  We are seeking the addition of a faculty member with university teaching experience who can enhance the program's scholarship in the musculoskeletal area.

Skills / Requirements

Candidates must be eligible for physical therapy licensure in Arizona. The ideal candidate will preferably have a Ph.D. or equivalent post-professional doctoral degree in addition to advanced certification or extended experience in musculoskeletal/orthopedic rehabilitation. The candidate will demonstrate productivity in a defined area of scholarship and excellence in teaching physical therapy. Candidates with strong foundations in kinesiology, biomechanics, or therapeutic exercise are encouraged to apply. Other areas related to musculoskeletal rehabilitation will be considered.
