Job Description

A.T. Still University is pleased to announce the opening of a coordinator in the Alumni Relations Department.  This position will be located on the Kirksville, MO campus and will report directly to the associate director of alumni relations.  Major job duties include:

  • Answer multi-line phone and channel calls appropriately
  • Assist with event planning and create registration and additional tracking forms
  • Track event attendance and share reports with internal partners
  • Maintain alumni/donor records
  • Monitor and reconcile department budget and plan and reconcile travel for associate director
  • Create marketing materials (both print and digital) for events, reunions, newsletters, etc. with guidance and in collaboration with Communications & Marketing
  • Prepare various mailings, update alumni ambassador lists, monitor alumni requests, and communicate with internal and external constituents to ensure alumni requests are efficiently resolved
  • Perform content management updates, as directed, to the alumni web pages and social media pages
  • Order and organize promotional items, and ship event materials as requested
  • Support preparation of alumni board meeting materials
  • Coordinator travel for student ex-officio members, assist with preparing presentations, and print materials for meetings, seminars, etc. 
  • Maintain standard operating procedures as related to job responsibilities

Skills / Requirements

  • High school diploma plus on year college required
  • Four year degree or equivalent experience preferred 
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and remain calm
  • Fluency in standard office software systems and clerical skills
  • Desire to assist and support group projects as well as practice diplomacy and exercise humility
