Position description: Help raise funds for the University through identification, cultivation, and solicitation of a portfolio consisting of local, regional, (some national) foundations and corporations/small businesses. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of creating customized gift/grant proposals and case statements resulting in the procurement of major gifts from foundations/corporations. This position will also create and write the development content related to all solicitation and stewardship materials for foundations/corporations including brochures, websites, digital signage, annual report, and other University publications in collaboration with Communications and Marketing. The selected individual will maintain files/databases related to foundation/corporation proposals, communications, and gifts received in the ATSU-University Advancement central data management system.

Qualifications: Ideal candidates will have a working knowledge of the charitable gift process and laws associated with a 501(c)3 organization. Experience working in an Advancement higher education program is highly desirable. Excellent writing and interpersonal relationship skills required. Possess the ability to be flexible and work in a team environment.
