Job Description

The Department of Anatomy at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (KCOM) of A.T. Still University invites applications for a full-time (12-month), tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level or above. Candidates must have a Ph.D. or other terminal degree with formal training in Human Gross Anatomy and/or Developmental Anatomy, at least two years of postdoctoral experience, and evidence of ability to teach at a professional school level. This position requires a balance between teaching, research, and service at KCOM and Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health (MOSDOH) as designated by the department chair. Teaching responsibilities at KCOM and MOSDOH will include cadaver dissection-based Human Gross and Developmental Anatomy for medical and dental students, including lecture and laboratory components. Other expectations include ability to conduct independent research and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
