AT Still University’s Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health (ASDOH) is seeking a full-time general dentist or prosthodontist to join the predoctoral clinical faculty as a CCU Director (Comprehensive Care Unit) at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The position is available immediately. ASDOH is dedicated to educating caring, technically adept dentists who become community and education leaders serving those in need.

CCU Directors are responsible for teaching, mentoring and monitoring the academic progress of D1 – D4 students who are assigned to work within their CCU (vertically integrated small group practices).  This faculty member will provide didactic and clinical instruction, as well as the provision of direct patient care in all areas of general dentistry including implant restoration and digital dentistry. Outstanding skills and abilities in collaboration, communication, and collegiality are essential. This faculty position works in a team-based environment with other CCU Directors, general dental and specialty faculty members to provide dental students interdisciplinary clinical experiences in comprehensive patient-centered oral health care including: diagnosis, treatment planning, oral medicine, preventive dentistry, advanced restorative treatment, patient management, and practice management. Position Requirements and Preferences:

  • Education: DMD or DDS degree from an institution accredited by American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) or completion of an advanced education program from an institution accredited by the CODA.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years clinical experience in general dentistry or prosthodontics with demonstrated mentoring skills.
  • Preferences: Eligibility for dental licensure in Arizona; experience in academics, clinical research and private practice desirable.
