Job Description

A.T. Still University, Arizona School of Health Sciences located on the Mesa, Arizona campus invites applications for a faculty position in our entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Responsibilities include teaching, scholarship, academic and research advising, and service to the institution, community, and profession. This faculty member will be responsible for teaching courses related to rehabilitation in the acute care/inpatient settings. Rank and salary are commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Skills / Requirements

Qualifications: Preferred candidates will have an academic doctoral degree (e.g. PhD, EdD, DSc). Candidates who are board certified clinical specialists are encouraged to apply.  The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate evidence of teaching experience and engagement in scholarly activities.  Minimum criteria for this position are: able to obtain physical therapist license in Arizona, APTA member; at least 5 years of direct patient care experience in the acute/inpatient settings; an earned doctoral degree; fit well into the current faculty group.
