ASHS - Assistant Professor Occupational Therapy .5 FTE
A.T. Still University, Arizona School of Health Sciences, Department of Occupational Therapy invites applications for part time faculty position (.5 FTE) to teach in the residential entry-level Master of Science and Doctoral Degree program. Typical faculty responsibilities include teaching, scholarship, mentoring and service. Rank and salary are commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities: Will depend on rank. Teach, design, and/or manage assigned components of the entry-level OT curriculum at the MS and OTD level. Advise and mentor students. Teach and engage in scholarly endeavors of service and research. Serve on committees as assigned.
Skills / Requirements
- Master's degree required; Doctoral degree or in progress from a regionally accredited institution (PhD or EdD) preferred
- Post-professional OTD will be considered
- Knowledge/experience in OT education and currency in clinical area required
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in occupational therapy that must include at least 2-3 years’ experience in clinical practice
- Clinical experience preferred in Adult and Older adult OT practice or as a generalist
