Job Description

A.T. Still University seeks an Admissions Counselor to join the Student Affairs/Admissions team on the Arizona campus. The ideal candidate will promote the goals of Admissions with the ongoing national recruitment of students for admission to ATSU programs. A strong focus on recruiting and counseling/advising prospective students and current applicants. Extensive national travel is required. 

Applicants must be organized, work well with diverse populations, have strong oral presentation skills, strong written communication skills, be able to work well on own and with groups, and be self-motivated. Comfortable with traditional and nontraditional college students, college advisors, faculty, staff, and alumni. Must enjoy travel and be able to travel on weekdays, evenings, and weekends. 


The ideal candidate will have organization/time management skills, travel independently, in good physical condition, will stand for extended periods of time at fairs, will need to walk various distance, be required to lift and carry up to 50 lbs of supplies, and set up displays.  Other skills desired are the ability to multitask, and have good problem-solving skills, as well as be a flexible, team player. Being comfortable with the use of computes and technology is essential to the successful candidate. A four year college degree is required.
