Job Description

A.T. Still University is excited to announce the opening of Museum Collections Intern at the Museum of Osteopathic Medicine located on its Kirksville, MO campus. This is a temporary, part-time position from January 15 - July 31, 2019. This position will follow directives of the Museum Assistant Director with the inventory and cataloging of the institution's collection. 

Specific duties include:

-Enter accession and donor information into PastPerfect software

-Update artifact records in PastPerfect

-Correlate all items with correct paper and database files

-Ensure all objects are properly marked with accession number

-Digitally photograph or scan each artifact and add images to PastPerfect

-Improve the storage conditions where practical noting storage location on the artifact record

The right applicant will have a background in history and museum work experience, good communication skills, a the ability to multi-task.

4 year degree required. Job experience may substitute for degree.
