Job Description

The A.T. Still University- Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (KCOM) is excited to announce the opening of a Research Assistant in its department of Physiology located at its Kirksville, MO campus. The Research Assistant will be responsible for performing laboratory work including; preparation of solutions and stocks, bacterial transformation, site-directed mutagenesis, DNA and RNA purification, and injection of RNA into oocytes. Additional responsibilities include execution of experiments, data analysis, and molecular modeling.

Skills / Requirements

The right candidate will possess a college-level understanding of biochemistry, biology, or chemistry. They must be highly motivated, able to work independently, and able to communicate effectively.
