A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona (ATSU-SOMA) invites applications for a part-time faculty position in the Department of Clinical Science Medicine.  Applicants must be a MD or DO, board certified in Family Medicine or other primary care specialty with the ability to obtain an Arizona medical license.

ATSU-SOMA’s model of education is designed to train future primary care physicians who will work with underserved communities by placing them in community health centers for a large portion of their education.  Students, Faculty and Staff at ATSU-SOMA are compassionate and have a drive for working with the underserved. Working at ATSU-SOMA provides an opportunity to teach using a variety of interactive methodologies, and the position provides an opportunity to express creativity in many facets including teaching, curriculum development and student assessment.  ATSU-SOMA faculty members collaborate with each other by serving on committees, interviewing student applicants, advising students, and in their research or other scholarly activity.

Candidates must possess a strong commitment to innovation, collaboration, and professional development. Necessary skills include proficiency with Microsoft office and email and an interest in learning other technology used in education.  Experience with OMT is a plus.
